南京有哪些靠谱留学中介?

我从南京众多留学中介机构里,选了优越留学这家,说下我选择的方法吧,算起来我可是做了一个星期的功课呢!

先了解清楚留学机构属于咨询行业,就如同法律行业(都是受管法律监督的,有地方能查的),我认为好的老师基本是要依靠经验的积累。而且啊每个留学机构都有很多成功案例的,这个就是显摆机构的能力以及专业素养的,所以要学会去辨识案例库。

因为所谓的成功案例,抛开一些杜撰和编造的之外,少数非常拔尖的申请结果主要是因为学生本人的情况足够好(是我仰望的学霸了)。因此,不要太过于迷信留学中介机构宣传的成功案例,得有选择地去看。

因为留学申请对我来说的重要性,尤其是我的英国留学申请,所以,挑选咨询顾问的时候,记得考察他是否具备丰富的经验和较好的沟通能力。从我的咨询情况来看,不少留学机构采用了以团队形式弥补个人背景不足的管理方式,其实也是不错的。

以及有个很残酷的现实

1)就是越大型的公司, 他的留学顾问流动性越大(这也是我不盲目追求牌子名气的原因)。好多小的新成立的「留学咨询公司」,打的旗号还是前XX家顾问申的,就很emmm……

2)有的资深顾问不通过预约或者朋友推荐预约,可能真的轮不上面询资深顾问(因为很多厉害的靠谱的老师对自己手上的学生数量是会有限制的,这也是负责的表现)。

总之,一个好的顾问能够非常精准的根据我的个人情况,为我分析介绍适合的留学国家及院校,并制定专属的最优申请方案,反之就只是单纯的院校名字推荐了。

至于为什么强调后续服务,这是很现实的问题,如果一个机构很重视后续,那么就代表他不是想赚你快钱,而是真的想做长远服务,把你送出去的。

后续服务也是一个专业的留学机构应该提供的服务,需要能够延续到国外。如出国后的接机、住宿、续签,乃至将来申请办理绿卡等延伸事务。具备这些完善的后续服务,更显现出中介机构的态度和靠谱。

个人认为选择留学中介机构要慎重,面对繁杂的申请流程、签证手续和后续服务,选择一家后续服务较完善的留学机构是比较重要的。

签了题主说到的优越,我签的是南京优越留学,去年四月份的时候开始看中介,也是先通过知乎、微博等平台来寻找已经留学的人的经验,然后通过自己上门作对比,来选出我觉得好的留学机构,来申请英硕。

估计大家开始都会加很多顾问的WeChat,我喜欢先电话联系,聊完觉得还行,没什么雷点的(比如说话吞吞吐吐、态度一般什么的),才会加vx进行下面或深或浅的交流,相比之下,上门当面咨询才是我的主场。

我特别在意顾问的态度,以及是否尊重我的想法和意愿。

如果遇到——

“现在应该定中介了”

“你不申请这几个可能就出不了国了”

“我专业还是你专业,想留学就听我的”

…………

诸如此类的话,我直接不考虑,相信我,这种机构不签也罢。

在态度上面优越的老师让我觉得很舒服,交流起来也无障碍,大概就是你问的问题乱七八糟,但对方却能一针见血指出问题,并且直接理解你到底想问的是什么。

当然,在态度的基础上,还是要看机构的实力的。

首先我是喜欢他们的文书,质量很高,不会存在chinglish,用词什么的都很地道,应该是他们说的外籍文案导师修改润色了,然后是文书的初稿完成好后直接发给我审核,不满意还可以修改,当然啦,我虽然觉得写的不错,但还是主动和文案老师再针对文书聊了下,才确定不用再修改的,谨慎如我。

对了,你们要判断中介靠谱与否,可以看看他们的文书给不给看,给不给改,不给看不给改的就emmm……

总之,申请英国留学,我会推荐这家,加油冲!

The goal of the MS program is to train students in the basic theory and applications of statistical methods, as applied to problems in the biomedical sciences. The program typically consists of two years of full-time study, including the the preparation of a Master's thesis. Requirements include courses in probability, mathematical statistics, and statistical methods including discrete data analysis, linear models, multivariate methods, survival analysis, statistical computing, and applied data analysis. All students take a course in epidemiology.

Candidates for the MS degree must complete 12 units of course credit and prepare a Master’s thesis. Required courses cover probability, mathematical statistics, and statistical methods including linear models, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, statistical computing, and applied data analysis. MS students will have the optionto take the written qualifying exam but it is not requiredto obtain a masters in biostatistics.

The MS in Biostatistics typically requires four semesters of formal course work. Students must complete nine units of required courses, three units of electives, and the Biostatistics in Practice and project requirements (see Section 7.3.9). The required courses are described below. The courses in bold type are the “core” courses for the MS degree that are covered on the written qualifications examination.

General Examination

The written qualifying examination is optionalfor MS students. This exam is offered each summer, in June, in conjunction with the Qualifications Evaluation Examination for the PhD.

Elective Courses

Students in the MS program choose three additional units from a list of advanced courses in biostatistics and related topics. At least two of these courses must be quantitative; the third may be in a related scientific field subject to approval by the Curriculum Committee Chair and Program Director. A partial listing appears under the section on electives for the PhD program (Section 7.3.3). In addition to these electives, BSTA 6220 Inference II and BSTA 7540 Advanced Survival Analysis, which are required courses for the PhD program, may be used as advanced electives for the MS program. Courses not described here may be used as advanced electives for the MS program upon receiving approval from the Chair of the Curriculum Committee and the Program Chair.

Biostatistics in Practice and the MS Thesis

All MS students must participate in the Biostatistics in Practice seminar and complete a Biostatistics in Practice project, which serves as the MS thesis. The BIP project consists of a comprehensive analysis of a dataset and a report of the results. The BIP project may be completed in any semester.

Transfer of CreditOnly courses considered at the graduate level may be transferred from previous training. A maximum of 4 course units may be transfered from graduate work for MS and 8 for PhD. Courses proposed for transfer credit must be relevant to training in biostatistics and may include courses in theory, methods, or towards a minor (see Section 7.3.6 regarding minors). Transfer of credit must be approved by the Program Chair and the GGEB Chair.

Academic Program Proposals and Approvals

At the beginning of each academic year, each student, in collaboration with his/her advisor, will prepare a proposal for the academic program including courses to be taken, courses to be transferred, and timelines for examinations and thesis preparation.




Biostatistics Application and Admission

Students are admitted into the MS and PhD degree programs in Biostatistics for the fall term only. General admission information, as well as a link to the online application system, can be obtained from the Biomedical Graduate Studies (BGS) Website. BGS accepts electronic applications only. Announcements of admission and fellowship awards to successful candidates are typically made by April 15. See applicationFrequently Asked Questionsfor more details.

A complete application consists of:Application Form- A complete, submitted online application accompanied by the $80 fee. The online application will require you to upload the following documents:

Personal Statement- Please discuss your academic and career objectives. It should be around 500 words in length. Be as specific as you can about the area in which you plan to study and your reasons for wishing to study at the University of Pennsylvania.

If you are applying to certificate program, your personal statement should include a paragraph (~200 words) reflecting your interest in those programs in addition to the doctoral discipline.

Research Statement - Please provide a description of your research experience(s), including the goals of each project, approaches used, results obtained, and implications of the findings for the project and the field at large. You may choose to describe a single research experience or several experiences, but please limit your statement to around 1000 words in length.

Resume/CV (Please DO NOT include GPA and/or GRE information)

Transcripts- All BGS applicants are required to upload up-to-date unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended. These transcripts must include grades for your most recently completed semester and indicate the courses you are enrolled in for the current semester. Transcripts from completed programs should show proof of degree conferral. A final, official transcript showing conferral of degree will be required of all accepted students prior to matriculation.

Letters of Recommendation- You will also be prompted to send requests to three (3) people who are able to provide letters of recommendation. They will be sent an email notification with a link to the online recommendation form, which will allow them to upload a PDF of the letter. The application and letters should identify personal attributes, experiences, and accomplishments relevant to success in the program. Applicants who are currently enrolled in a degree program must arrange for at least one letterof recommendation to be sent from a faculty member at their current department.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE): BGS does not require or accept GRE scores (general or subject tests).

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): All applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL, scores for which are valid for two years from the date of the exam. We must receive an official score from ETS by the application deadline. We will waive the TOEFL for applicants whose native language is not English but who have or will obtain a degree from a U.S. or other approved English-instructed institution. There are no minimum score requirements.Our ETS institution code is 2900. In order for your application to be considered complete, official score reports must be received by the application deadline. In order to ensure that your official scores are received in time, we suggest that you take the exam no later than mid-November.

优越留学是主打英国的,选择中介应该选择精和专而不是考虑机构规模大吧?

其次费用这块,优越留学会便宜一些,结合申请来说性价比也是高一些的。

然后现在网络这么发达,线上沟通很方面,不需要面谈也是ok的,只要这家中介正规靠谱就行了。

具体的顾问专业度还有文书质量如何是否需要多找两家做对比还是需要自己去好好考量的。
